There are a lot of groups out there doing good work and supporting motorcyclists.  Here's a few of them.

BikePAC of Oregon
BikePAC is a Political Action Committee. Recognized in Salem, Oregon as an effective, responsible voice for Oregon's motorcyclists.
Motorcycle Riders Foundation (MRF)
The Motorcycle Riders Foundation is the leading voice for you, the street rider, in Washington, D.C.
TEAM OREGON
TEAM OREGON is a nationally recognized leader in motorcycle rider safety and skills training. Since 1984 Team Oregon has been helping motorcyclists in Oregon become better, safer and more skillful riders. From beginners to experts, TEAM OREGON offers courses for every skill level.
American Motorcyclist Association
The American Motorcyclist Association is a 270,000-member organization with an unparalleled history of pursuing, protecting and promoting the interests of the world's largest and most dedicated group of motorcycle enthusiasts. Founded in 1924, the AMA exists to further the interests of American motorcyclists, while serving the needs of its members.
Aid for Injured Motorcyclists (AIM)
Aid to Injured Motorcyclists is a nationwide legal services program with affiliated law offices in every state and Canadian Province to serve the legal needs of the motorcycling community. A.I.M., is dedicated toward informing all motorcyclists of their legal rights and help protect and enforce those rights.
NCOM
The goal and purpose of NCOM is to assist all motorcycle organizations and individual riders with legal, legislative and other motorcycling issues.  The Coalition will not dictate to any organization, but will be available to assist NCOM member groups through such free services as legislative assistance, nationwide information network, public awareness programs, safety projects, loan program, biker anti-discrimination legal and legislative assistance, etc.
